I purchased it for a class I took at a university, because there was no way in hell that I was going to pay 3 times as much for the same book at the campus's bookstore. That matter aside, the book was pretty good although there were some areas that could have been explained more clearly, and other areas that didn't need as much explanation. But then again, most people are buying this book for a college class or for work, not because they want to.
I bought this book to use in my CAD class. I learned how to use solidworks simulation to conduct studies on various parts. Really good book!
Awesome book. Clearly walks you through each sample simulation. The part files are difficult to find on the website. But the book is great.
Instructions is not clear enough.
I recommend to go through this book before you start to do FEA in SolidSorks Simulation
